My last entry was talking about what it means to be saved by grace. Right along with that, God has been teaching me about forgiveness! WOW! What a lesson! I am just a sinner saved by grace which means God has given me His forgiveness. Not only has He forgiven me, but He does it daily as I sin and mess up daily!

God has commanded me to forgive others and seek their forgiveness myself. Why is that so hard for us to do as humans. We don't want to admit that we are wrong and we don't want to give others an inch when they are wrong. Well, God taught me an important lesson this week. The more we hang on to that unforgiving spirit the m ore miserable we become. God commands us to forgive and seek forgiveness not just for the sake of others, but for our own peace of mind. The sooner we can learn to forgive and let go the less time we leave stewing inside.

Isn't it amazing how God knows what is best for us. Even if it doesn't seem easy or it isn't what we want to do? God is SO Good and Faithful to His children.

As I re-read what I wrote I know my words don't adequately express all that He has been teaching me. But, I hope you get something out of it. forgiveness is an amazing thing. I am so unworthy of the forgiveness that he has given me!
