Snowy Days
It has officially been snowing for over 24 hours now! We woke up to little snow flurries yesterday and by the end of the day had a beautiful white layer covering the earth and everything on it. It is so nice to sit at the window all wrapped up in a blanket, cuddling with my girls, sipping on warm green tea (yeah, green tea, not hot coco...we are in Korea remember), next to the space heater (no fire places in an apartment building), watching the snow fall and the wind blow! It is beautiful and refreshing!

The first snow of the year is always SO exciting and fun! My oldest daughter couldn't stand being inside anylonger and last night we all braved the cold to play in the snow for 20 minutes! She had the time of her life throwing snow balls and trying to build a mini snowman! She has a good arm too! She pegged my husband and I MANY times! It was the baby's first time in snow and she didn't know what to think! She was more confused by the hats we were all wearing! She just kept staring and staring at us! When we took them off she GRINNED from ear to ear! After about 15 minutes her little nose started turning red and her eyes teared up from the wind, so we headed back in!

The snow continued through the night and there is now a thick white blanket covering the earth. My daughter can't wait for us to finish breakfast and get out and play before we start our day of school! She can't stop staring out the window! God is SO good! His creation is truly a work of art!

Happy Thanksgiving (a bit late)!
Well, I once again have been neglecting you! I am sorry for that, but things have been extremely busy around here. What a special time of the year it is! Thanksgiving was just a week ago!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving Day! Melisa and I spent all afternoon and evening cooking away on Wednesday and again on Thursday morning! It was SO much fun to be in the kitchen with my little helping hands. Cali spent the cooking time scooting in and out of the kitchen! She was too cute! We made a bean casserole, a corn casserole, mashed potatoes, gravy, a cheese cake, brownies and chocolate dipped strawberries!

We all headed to our team leaders house and the whole team showed up with yummy things to eat! We ate at noon and then visited all afternoon. By the time we were done eating we were stuffed beyond belief! It was SO nice to have a taste of home on a special day! We hung around and even had left over turkey sandwiches for dinner. I think I like those as much as I like the rest of Thanksgiving Dinner!

As we drove home I was overwhelemed with the blessings that God had poured out on me over the past year! He is my Provider and the Maker of all! He is SO good to His children! My blessings are truly TOO many to count! What about you, have you taken time to count your blessings this year?
