I Have NO Words
This doesn't happen often, but I have absolutely NO words except to tell you what happened!

Do you remember me blogging about the SnowFest that we went to the weekend before last? It was a lot of fun and the girls got to sit on Santa's lap while we were there. They had their picture taken and we were supposed to go back and pick them up shortly after. We chceked in every hour or so, but our pictures were never ready. 5:00 came and there was a crowd in "Santa's workshop" waiting for their pictures. They finally admitted that they couldn't get them all done and sent us home with a promise of getting them on-line.

Armed with a website in hand I went home to wait. After 2 days I decided I would check out the website to find the girls pictures. I got right on the website, but there were NO pictures. I waited a few more days but never saw any pictures go up. I had Clark call to ask them about it and they seemed very confused to say the least. They took a description of the girls and our phone number and address with a promise to mail us our pictures.

It has been a week and a half and I haven't seen any pictures or heard from anyone...that is until my cell phone rang this evening. Here is the coversation:

Employee: I was calling about the SnowFest pictures. I know your husband said that you had two daughters ages 3 and 9 wearing red shirts but I can't seem to find their pictures. Can you help me by giving me a better description.

Me: My oldest daughter is 9, but often is mistaken for a 7 year old. She has red hair. She was wearing a solid red shirt that had a small white trim on the very bottom and around the arms. She was sitting on Santa's left knee. My younger daughter is 3. She has dark brown hair and is sitting on Santa's right knee. She has a red shirt that looks fuzzy. She was wearing it over a solid white shirt. They both had blue jeans on.

Employee: Ummm...was one of them wearing a green shirt and one a purple?

Me: NO, I am sure they were both in RED shirts.

Employee: What about a stroller, was one of them sitting in a stroller.

Me: NO, the older one was on the left knee and the younger one on the right.

Employee: Did they have matching shirts with Christmas Tree's on them?

Me: Noooo, one had a SOLID red shirt on and one had a fuzzy red shirt/sweater over a solid white shirt.

Employee: Were you in the picture with them or maybe your husband.

Me: NO, it was just them.

Employee: Could one of them have really been a boy?

Me: (this time I pause totally shocked that this question came out of her mouth) NO!!! They have ALWAYS been girls!

Employee: What about twins, I found one of twins.

Me: NOO!! One is NINE and the other is THREE! One has red hair and the other has brown! They look nothing like twins!

Employee: Oh, I see. So you are sure that one wasn't a boy and they aren't twins. But, you know they were both wearing red?

Me: (at this point I am planning the blog post in my head because I can't believe someone could actually be asking me these questions) YES! I am sure my daughters are both girls, they are NOT twins and they were wearing red shirts.

Employee: Well, I don't think we took their picture then!

Me: I know they had their picture taken, maybe you lost it.

Employee: That could be, I don't know what to do.

Me: What if I e-mail you a picture that I took of the girls that day so you can see what they look like and locate their picture that way.

Employee: That's a good idea. I don't get to access the computer though, so you will have to wait until the photographer checks his e-mail for me to see it.

Me: That's probably a good thing. I will go send the e-mail now and call again tomorrow or the next day.

I know this seems made-up. I promise it is a real conversation that I had with a lady who works for this photographer. I honestly have no words to describe it. I am speachless. Was she playing dumb? Is she really that incompetent? How does she still have a job there? How did she get the job in the first place? I have lots of questions, but nothing to say!
